La caverne alimentaire is a public market in Montreal, Canada. Its program includes a cooking school, a market, a public garden and micro-restaurants. The programmatic elements are assembled to create a scripted walk. This parcours tells the story of a hunter-gatherer, who gets out of his cavern to discover luxurious nature. The man then elevates himself over the natural landscape, walking massive steel foot-bridges toward new gastronomic experiences.
